Borrow containers in-app by tapping the blue ‘borrow’ symbol top right in the ‘Shelf’ home screen of the app.
Hold your phone flat to the scan station until it registers.

Tap the container you’d like to borrow.
Hit the blue 'Borrow' button.
This green, validation screen is like a receipt. It shows you and the location team that the transaction has been processed and that you are free to take the container from the location.
Show the validation screen to staff, and enjoy takeaway without the throwaway.
You'll now find the container you have just borrowed on your shelf. It will stay there, and is your responsibility, until you return it and check it back in.
The green tile behind the container will deplete as your free borrow time passes.
